How I Solved the Biggest Pain Point in Google Play App Publishing with AppBanana.io

If you've tried publishing a new Android app recently, you've probably run into Google's 12 testers requirement and 14-day Google Play Closed Testing process. For many developers, getting Google Play Store approval has become harder than building the app itself.

After seeing countless developers struggle with Play Store rejections, confusing Google Play policies, and finding 12 real testers, I built AppBanana.

What is AppBanana?

AppBanana.io is a platform that helps Android developers:

Complete Google Play Closed Testing with real human testers.
Get AI-powered approval reports before submitting.
Identify common Google Play policy violations.
Improve the chances of Google Play Store approval.
Why I Built It

The biggest challenge wasn't writing code—it was navigating the Google Play Console approval process. Developers were spending days searching for testers, fixing avoidable policy issues, and resubmitting apps after rejection.

I wanted to make that process predictable.

Looking for Feedback

If you've published an Android app, I'd love to know:

What was your biggest challenge with Google Play?
Have you been affected by the 12 testers requirement?
What feature would make a platform like AppBanana genuinely useful?

I'm actively building and would appreciate any feedback from the Dev.to community.
