React Native Mobile App Developer

Hi! I’m Wajahat Ali Mir — a mobile app developer specializing in React Native. I build practical, polished apps that work smoothly on both Android and iOS. In this post, I’m sharing my portfolio, the story behind it, and the apps I’m most proud of.

You can explore my code and projects here:

👨‍💻 About Me

I love building mobile apps that people can use in real life. My focus is on React Native because it lets me create fast and beautiful apps with one codebase for both major platforms.

I enjoy:

Turning ideas into usable apps

Solving real problems with code

Learning new tools and patterns every day

My portfolio shows who I am as a developer — not just what I can do, but what I have done.

📱 Featured Projects

Here are some of the apps I’ve built that represent my work and growth as a React Native developer. For each project, I briefly explain what it does, why I made it, and what I learned.

🌟 FitBuddy — React Native Fitness App

This is a fitness tracking app where users can log workouts, track progress, and set goals.

Built using React Native navigation and local storage

Simple, smooth UI with easy navigation

Focus on usability and performance

This project taught me how to structure app screens and handle offline data well.

💬 Chatly — Real-Time Chat App

A lightweight chat application with real-time messaging.

Uses Firebase for authentication and messaging

Clean, minimal UI that feels native on both platforms

Handles message lists and input smoothly

I built this to practice integrating backend services and real-time features in apps.

🛍 ShopEase — Demo E-Commerce App

A sample online store app where users can browse products and manage a cart.

Shows how I handle lists, filters, and store logic

Works well on both Android and iOS

UI designed to feel familiar and intuitive

This app helped me improve how I think about user flows and component reuse.

🧠 How I Built My Portfolio

I keep things simple and clear. My portfolio isn’t just a list of links — it’s a snapshot of my work so far.

Here’s how I approached it:

I chose React Native for all projects because I want to be strong in cross-platform development.

For each app, I wrote a short description that explains what the app does and what challenges I solved.

I included screenshots and links to code so anyone can explore the projects.

A good portfolio helps others understand not just what you built, but why you built it.

👀 What I’m Focused On in 2026

As I grow as a React Native developer, I’m focusing on:

Building apps with clean and maintainable code

Improving animations and user experience

Learning advanced patterns for large-scale apps

I’m always open to feedback, suggestions, and collaboration.

React Native Mobile App Developer

Wajahat Ali Mir — a React Native app developer passionate about crafting mobile experiences that feel native on both Android and iOS.
👨‍💻 Who I Am

I’m a developer who loves turning ideas into mobile apps that people can actually use. My core focus is React Native, and I enjoy solving problems through code — whether it’s building smooth interfaces, handling offline features, or integrating APIs.

My developer portfolio is more than a collection of links — it’s a story about the work I’ve done, the challenges I faced, and how I solved them. Like any good portfolio, it puts quality first, showcasing the projects I’m proudest of and the technologies I’ve mastered.

A strong portfolio isn’t just about what you know — it’s about what you’ve built and how clearly you present it.

📱 Highlighted Projects

Here are a few apps from my portfolio that show my practical experience with React Native and real-world problem solving:

🔹 FitBuddy — Fitness Companion App

A mobile app built with React Native that helps users track workouts, set goals, and monitor progress.

Clean, responsive UI with intuitive navigation

Local storage and customizable tracking

Built to work smoothly on both Android and iOS

This project reflects my attention to UX as well as structuring reusable React Native components.

💬 Chatly — Real-Time Messaging App

A chat application using Firebase for auth and real-time updates.

User authentication and profile management

Real-time message sync with cloud backend

User-friendly interface with fast interaction feedback

This app taught me how to manage backend integration and state smoothly in React Native.

🛒 ShopEase — E-Commerce App Prototype

A demo e-commerce app showcasing product listings, filtering, and cart functionality.

Product browsing and dynamic screens

Local cart sync and simple checkout flow

Designed with performance and user flow in mind

Through this, I practiced best practices in navigation and app state management.

🧠 How I Built It

My portfolio site and projects are hosted online so they’re easy to explore. The main portfolio page at https://wajahatalimirpro.github.io
gives an overview, and you’ll find deeper links to each project’s code and screenshots.

Each project in a developer portfolio should show not just what was built but why and how — including the tools used and lessons learned. That’s what makes a portfolio meaningful for prospective clients or employers.

🚀 What I’ve Learned Along the Way

Over the last year, I’ve focused on:

✨ Building responsive and maintainable React Native apps
✨ Handling data sync and backend integration
✨ Improving app flows and smooth interactions
✨ Presenting work clearly so others can understand both the code and the outcome

A well-curated portfolio tells your story — not just your skills. Recruiters and clients look for clarity and real examples of work, not just a long list of technologies.

📬 Let’s Connect

I’m always open to feedback, collaboration, and exciting opportunities:

📧 Email: mrwajahatalimir@gmail.com

🔗 LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mirtech

🐦 X/Twitter: https://x.com/mrwajahatalimir

📂 GitHub: https://github.com/WajahatAliMirPro

You can also find all my links in one place here: https://linktr.ee/mrwajahatalimir

🧩 Final Thoughts on Developer Portfolios

A great developer portfolio communicates your work clearly, highlights your best projects, and makes it easy for someone to understand your capabilities in a short time. Focus on a few excellent apps rather than every code snippet you’ve ever written, and always make sure someone can explore your work with confidence and ease.
