The 48-hour SCORE STOP loop I use before building another digital product

Most digital packs don’t fail because the Notion template looks ugly.

They fail because you polish for three weeks… then discover nobody will pay.

Here’s the short loop I use as a solo seller before I invest build time. It’s free to steal. I’m also the individual seller Pai of a small validation starter if you want the templates later — disclosed up front, no income claims.

 The failure mode

Build → polish → soft-launch → silence → “maybe I need better branding.”

Usually you needed a paid test, not a prettier cover.

 The SCORE → STOP loop

 1) Score the offer before you build (0–100)

I use a one-page opportunity scorecard across demand clarity, willingness to pay, competition, margin, recurring potential, automation, speed to MVP, and scalability.

Free sample (no email wall):

https://sandy-tulip-74zr.here.now/

Prioritize ideas that clear a high bar. Park the rest. Don’t “polish harder” on a 40.

 2) Thin page + price + checkout

One clear outcome sentence. One price. A simple checkout link. Hosting can be a static page.

You are not launching a brand. You are testing whether anyone will pay for a specific deliverable.

 3) Short organic ask window

Hours or a few days — not a month of “getting ready.” Disclose you are the seller. No spam lists. No fake scarcity timers. No income guarantees in the copy.

 4) Hard gates: SCALE / IMPROVE / STOP

If nobody shows intent after a clear ask, STOP. Salvage the learning. Do not spend another weekend on the zip.

 5) If someone pays: ledger → fulfill → document

Verify the checkout → write a sales-ledger row → send the zip → keep a copy for records. Fair refunds beat chargebacks.

 What this is not

Not financial, tax, or legal advice

Not “AI agents will sell while you sleep”

Not a promise you will make money

Results vary by market and execution. Tools + process only.

 Free artifact

Start with the scorecard: https://sandy-tulip-74zr.here.now/

Optional $19 Offer Validation Starter (disclose: I’m the individual seller Pai)

If you want a compact version of the loop — with the scorecard, validation gates, and simple ledgers — the Offer Validation Starter is $19 via Payhip and delivered as an instant zip:

https://payhip.com/b/6zMbF

No income claims; this is a practical template pack for testing an offer.

Happy to take roast on the scorecard weights in the comments either way.
