The AI landscape is shifting rapidly. It is no longer just about prompt engineering or who has the largest model—it is about how models think and execute tasks autonomously.

Here are 3 major trends catching my attention:

Reasoning Models (Test-Time Compute)
Models now take deliberate time to verify logic, self-correct, and reduce hallucinations before returning an answer.

Agentic Workflows Over Simple Chatbots
Instead of just answering questions, models are integrated with APIs, terminal tools, and state machines to complete full end-to-end tasks.

Rise of Capable Open-Weight Models
With efficient MoE architectures, running powerful models locally or on self-hosted servers is becoming much more practical for indie developers.

What part of the current AI shift excites (or concerns) you the most? Would love to hear your thoughts below! 👇
