Hacktoberfest 2023: My Experience as Contributor

This year was my second time participating in Hacktoberfest. It was a great opportunity to return to some open-source communities I joined for Hactoberfest 2020. I enjoy translating technical documentation as it improves my proficiency in English and broadens my knowledge. During my previous participation, I joined the Python ES translators community. This time, I also made some Python docs translations, and since I've been studying design patterns lately, I was able to translate some explanations for iluwatar's Java Design Patterns repo.

 Highs and Lows

The first contribution is the hardest one. Once you understand how the contribution workflow is for your project, it keeps getting easier. Finding an exciting project is crucial to complete the challenge. But don't forget, it is always about having fun.

 Growth

It was nice to reinforce my knowledge about regex, Python Enums, and some design patterns and techniques such as lazy-loading, singleton pattern, and layers architecture.

I completed the challenge, and I can't wait for Hacktoberfest 2024!
