BlueStacks Change IP Proxy Settings

BlueStacks is an Android emulator that can help users run Android applications on Windows or macOS. Using Bluestacks allows users to play games on a larger screen and use a keyboard and mouse to control the game. At the same time, using a proxy server that can provide faster network connection speeds, and improve the performance and responsiveness of the game application. Next, I will tell you how to configure YiLu Socks5 proxy and BlueStacks change IP proxy settings.

1. Download BlueStacks Android emulator.

BlueStacks official website download URL: https://www.bluestacks.com/download.html

Here I use a Windows 10 PC to install BlueStacks 5, then change BlueStacks IP proxy settings.

2. Download and install v2rayNG APP on BlueStacks.

Download v2rayNG Android APP: https://github.com/2dust/v2rayNG/releases

3. Add a proxy configuration file.

Open v2rayNG APP, and click “+” icon to add a proxy.

4. Select proxy type.

Select “Type manually[Socks]”

5. Enter proxy details.

On the YiLu Proxy [Residential IPs] tab:

a. Select rotating residential IP;

b. Select the first IP information format;

c. Set the number of generating IPs;

d. Select a country, state, and city;

e. Refresh;

f. Copy an IP, port, username, and password.

On v2rayNG configuration file settings:

a. Enter a proxy remark;

b. Paste IP, port, username, and password;

c. Click “√” to save.

6. Use a proxy.

Select the added proxy, and click “v” icon on the bottom to connect the proxy network.

You can click the black area to test the proxy network speed.

7. Check the IP address.

Run the Google Chrome browser on BlueStacks Android emulator, and enter “ipinfo.io” to check the IP address. The IP location is consistent with the selected location in YiLu Proxy client.

How to use Shadowrocket on iPhone iPad IOS devices?

In this article, I will tell you how to configure Shadowrocket APP on iPhone iPad IOS devices with YiLu Proxy as VPN.

Here I use YiLu Proxy dynamic residential IP, dynamic datacenter IP, 4G/5G mobile IP, and pro residential IP ad VPN server. After completing configuration, you can use these proxy IPs without running YiLu Proxy client on your iPhone or iPad device.

Get YiLu Proxy IP code

On the residential IPs or pro mobile IP tab:

Select a proxy IP type
Select a country, state, and city
Refresh
Click an IP
Get a proxy IP code

Shadowrocket configuration

Click the scanning icon
Scan the YiLu Proxy IP code
Select the proxy IP node
Turn on the connection button
Check IP address

Next, I will share with you a step-by-step tutorial about how to use the Proxy Helper Chrome extension with YiLu Proxy.

1. Download and install the Proxy Helper extension.

Install Proxy Helper extension in Google Chrome browser from Chrome web store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/proxy-helper/mnloefcpaepkpmhaoipjkpikbnkmbnic

2. Enter Proxy Helper Chrome extension options.

Right-click the icon of the Proxy Helper extension then click “Options”.

3. Set up a Proxy.

A. Local port forwarding

For all YiLu Proxy static IPs, right-click an IP and select a port.

YiLu Proxy supports Socks5 and HTTP protocols.
Enter local IP: 127.0.0.1 and the forwarding port, such as 5500, or 5501.

B. Server port forwarding for dynamic IPs and mobile IPs

a. Select proxy IP type: rotating residential IP, rotating datacenter IP, mobile IP, or pro residential IP;

b. Select the format IP:Port:Username: Password;

c. Set the number of generating IPs;

d. Select a location;

e. Refresh;

f. Copy a dynamic IP, port, username, and password;

g. Select HTTP proxy;

h. Paste the server IP and port;

i. Paste the username and password.

4. Use a Proxy.

Click the Proxy Helper icon and select a proxy to use.

Then check the IP address, which is the consistent with YiLu proxy IP you selected.

Right-click an IP and click “Connect” or directly double-click an IP.

B. Multi-port forwarding

For YiLu Proxy static IPs or dynamic IPs, right-click an IP and select a proxy port.

2. Telegram Settings

1. Click the icon on the top left in Telegram client

2. Click “Settings”

3. Click “Advanced”

4. Click “Connection type”

5. Select “Use custom proxy”

6. Set the proxy

Select “SOCKS5”

Enter Hostname: 127.0.0.1

Enter Port: such as 1080, 5500, 5501.

Then click “Save”.

Next, let’s use YiLu Proxy dynamic IP information, containing IP address, port, username and password to connect.

a. Select rotating residential IP or datacenter IP;

b. Select a country, state, and city;

c. Select IP information format: IP:Port:Username:Password;

d. Set the number of refreshing IPs;

e. Click “Refresh”;

f. Right-click an IP and click “Copy IP and Port”.

Then paste IP information in Telegram proxy settings.

7. Select a proxy IP to use

You can add more proxy IPs with different ports, and select the one you want to use.

e. Select "Socks5 proxy".

f. Enter proxy server IP, port, username, and password.

g. Click the "√" icon to save the proxy.

7.Use a proxy.

a. Select an added proxy, then turn on the "Use Proxy" button.

b. Now Telegram App is connecting the proxy network, and you also can set auto-switch proxies.

cURL is a command line tool for sending and receiving data using the URL. When you enter a URL that blocked for your location or you want to hide your IP address, you need to connect proxy for cURL. Next, let’s learn how to use cURL with proxy.

1. Download and install cURL.

A. Download cURL

cURL official website download URL: https://curl.se/download.html

cURL supports Windows, Linux, macOS, and here I use Windows-64bit.

B. Unzip the file.

C. Configure environment variables

a. Right-click this PC, click "Properties".

b. Enter "Advanced system settings".

c. Enter "Advanced", click "Environment Variables".

d. Add a new user variable.

-Click "New"

-Enter new user variable name: CURL_HOME

-Enter variable value: enter the CURL bin file installation directory, here is D:\Software\curl-8.0.1_7-win64-mingw\bin

-Click "OK" to save.

e. Edit system variable path.

-Select the Path variable

-Click "Edit"

-Click "New"

-Enter "%CURL_HOME%\I386"

-Click "OK" to save.

D. Check cURL installation status.

On the computer keyboard, press "Windows" and "R" at the same time to open "Run" box.

Then enter "cmd", and click "OK" to open [Command Prompt].

Enter "curl --version" to check the installation status.

If some curl information appears, that means the CURL’s installation has been successful.

2. cURL set proxy commands.

This is cURL command with proxy:

-x, --proxy [protocol://]host[:port]

Here I use "https:ipinfo.io" to test proxy IP address.

We can use curl -x or curl --proxy to set proxy.

For example: the following two CURL commands is the same.

curl -x "http://username:password@ip:port" "https://ipinfo.io"

or

curl --proxy "http://username:password@ip:port" "https://ipinfo.io"

cURL default proxy protocol type is HTTP.

For example: the following two cURL commands is the same.

curl -x "http://username:password@ip:port" "https://ipinfo.io"

or

curl -x "username:password@ip:port" "https://ipinfo.io"

If you want to ignore or bypass proxy, use cURL noproxy command:

curl --noproxy "*" "https://ipinfo.io"

Here are some cURL commands to connect YiLuProxy different types of IPs.

The following content is cURL with proxy example, including set cURL HTTP proxy and cURL Socks5 proxy. Here I use YiLu Proxy as cURL proxy, and it supports Socks5 and HTTP protocols.
