If you already have a beat and need a vocal on it, there are now a few web tools that will sing or rap one for you. They are not the same, and the differences (price, whether your beat is touched, whether you can download the vocal alone) matter more than the marketing pages suggest. This is a short comparison of four I looked at. Prices and features were checked on their own sites on 2026-11-06 and change often.

Disclosure: I built AI Vocals Generator, which is the first entry. I tried to write each entry the same way, including the downsides of my own tool.

 1. AI Vocals Generator (mine)

What it does: you upload your beat (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG, 10 seconds to 8 minutes), paste lyrics or describe the song, pick sung or rap and a female or male voice. About a minute later you get two vocal takes. Each take is its own track over your untouched beat, and you can download the vocal alone or the mix as WAV, with a small timing nudge in the browser mixer.

Price: $4.99 for one song (two takes) with no sign-up, credit packs from $9.99, plans from $14.90/month. There is no free tier.

Good for: producers who want a sung or rapped demo on a finished beat and want the beat left exactly as it is.

Downsides: no free tier, generic voices only (no voice cloning), and the vocal is not locked to the beat sample by sample, so you may need to nudge it.

Link: AI Vocals Generator (rap-specific page: AI rap vocals on your beat).

 2. Lyro Music

What it does: an AI song generator that also takes your own beat or vocal. Its pricing page lists "your own vocal or beat: vocals for your beat, a beat for your vocal", plus a mixer, vocal tools, mastering and WAV export.

Price: Starter is $14/month billed monthly, or $6/month billed yearly, with 80 credits a month. Creator is $24/month, or $7/month billed yearly. The pricing page says there is no free trial or test song.

Good for: people who make music every week and want one subscription that covers songs, mixing and mastering.

Downsides: you pay before you hear anything, and the credit system means the cost per song depends on which tool you use.

Link: Lyro Music

 3. Vocuno

What it does: a large suite of AI music tools. Its tool list includes "Add Vocals to Track" for uploading an instrumental, along with song creation, covers, stems, mastering and a BPM detector.

Price: plans start at $19/month ($15/month billed annually) for Starter; Pro and Studio cost more. You can sign up free without a card.

Good for: people who want many tools in one account, not only vocals.

Downsides: it is a big menu, so the "add vocals" path is one tool among dozens, and the credit system takes some reading.

Link: Vocuno

 4. Suno

What it does: the best-known AI song generator. Its pricing page lists uploading audio up to 8 minutes on every plan, including the free one.

Price: Free plan is $0 with 50 credits a day, no commercial rights and no song downloads. Pro is $8/month and adds commercial use rights and 20 song downloads a month.

Good for: exploring ideas cheaply; it is a general generator, not a "vocals for my beat" tool.

Downsides: it is built around making a whole song, so keeping your own beat exactly as it is, as a separate vocal track, is not its focus.

Link: Suno

 How to choose

You want your beat untouched and a vocal you can download alone: look at tools that return the vocal as a separate track and say so on the page.

You make music every week and want mixing and mastering in the same place: a subscription tool is usually cheaper per song.

You just want to try ideas: start with a free plan, then check commercial rights before you release anything.

Whatever you pick, measure your beat's tempo and key first and keep lyrics short enough for the bars you have. Most "AI vocal sounds off" problems start there.
