🦤 Introducing DodoCD – CI/CD for PHP Shared Hosting!

Deploying PHP applications to shared hosting doesn't have to mean manually uploading ZIP files, connecting through FTP, or worrying about how to roll back a broken deployment.

I built DodoCD, an open-source, self-hosted CI/CD tool designed specifically for PHP websites running on traditional shared hosting (Apache and LiteSpeed).

The idea is simple: bring a modern deployment workflow to hosting environments that don't necessarily support the infrastructure expected by traditional CI/CD platforms.

What DodoCD offers:

🚀 Automated deployments through CI pipelines such as GitHub Actions.

📦 ZIP-based deployments without requiring a build environment on the hosting server.

📊 A dashboard with deployment history and detailed logs.

⏪ Release management and rollbacks.

🌐 Manage multiple websites from one installation.

🔑 Deploy token management.

🗄️ SQL database migrations for individual sites.

🔒 Self-hosted, with your deployment infrastructure under your control.

How it works:

Your CI pipeline builds and packages your PHP application.

The package is sent to your DodoCD installation.

DodoCD deploys it to your website.

You can track deployments, inspect logs and roll back releases through the dashboard.

DodoCD is open source, and I'd love to get feedback from PHP developers, shared hosting users and anyone interested in simpler deployment workflows.

This is just the beginning. More features are planned!

⭐ GitHub: https://github.com/YohanSandun/dodocd

If you find it useful, give it a star, try it out, report issues or contribute!
