As a developer, I’ve always been fascinated by how we can solve daily problems with simple web tools. One such problem I encountered was the "QR Scanner Struggle."

Most of the QR scanner apps available today are bloated. They take too much space, require unnecessary permissions, and are often riddled with intrusive ads. I thought, "Why can't we just use the browser?"

So, I built Fast QR Scanner. My main goal was to keep it minimal and privacy-focused.

Key Technical Decisions:

Client-Side Processing: All the decoding happens right in the browser. No images are uploaded to a server, ensuring 100% privacy.
Zero Dependencies: I wanted the tool to be lightning-fast, so I avoided heavy libraries.
Responsive Design: Ensuring it works perfectly whether you are on a 4K monitor or a budget Android phone.
If you're looking for a clean, fast, and ad-free way to scan QR codes, feel free to check out my project here: Fast QR Scanner

I'm still working on adding a few more features (like a batch scanner). If you have any suggestions or feedback, please let me know in the comments!
