I also used to work with students who would have 2 weeks to complete a project as part of their initial development training. That actually showed me how much can be done in a short amount of time, if you're willing to move fast and focus on the absolute core functionality needed for an MVP. Lots of tech debt produced, but at least they alwasy had something live!!

 

Right! Also, it's so weird to me, because at work I am always able to complete my work, even under crazy deadlines. Although, recently I have noticed part of it is just different types of motivations and situations. At work I am confident and I have physical people to talk to and show my skills to. On the internet, I'm a no-body and when I can't see the faces, it's a little scarier. Some of the people who left comments, have made great points that part of it is that it's easy to get lazy, make excuses, get bored, over think it or many other self made blockers. So it's just working on being self aware and working on it.
