Both, NGINX and Apache provide good performance as they are flexible, reliable, and proficient. Understanding your particular requirements and running tests with the patterns you are expecting are important steps in determining which server will meet your demands.

Thanks for insights. It's really a personal preference when choosing a web server. It's about chosing tradeoffs carefully and performing vigorous tests. I haven't tested out other webservers such as litespeed or caddy server.
I will try and test other web servers and document my findings.
Sure Ian, if you are looking for speed and response rate, litespeed is the server you should go for. In terms of speed it outperforms both Apache and Nginx. There are other contributing variables aswell, and it all comes down to personal preferences like you said.
