Yes, I absolutely agree with you.

I think a large problem is that so many JS developers are juniors or less experienced at least. They haven't learnt that other languages have proper tooling.

Personally I come from a long history covering Java, PHP, Ruby, Golang. Honestly, the 3.5 years of professional JS/TS work has had me pulling out hair about the tooling. It's almost funny that things can be in such a state. But then again, I've also seen more bugs in the last year and a half than I have in 15years of using other languages.
So maybe the developers that use JS (only or primarily) are used to different standards?
