I found this free simple video player design on the interwebz. I like this design (fits the project) and I wanted to use it to make the HTML <video> element a little prettier. Unfortunately, this is just a PSD and does not contain any HTML and/or style sheets.
I understand the process of slicing and styling conceptually thanks to an article I read here on dev.to but I suck at actually doing it. I am however interested in learning the process to some degree. (the internet has various opinions about it and online PSD to HTML converters are stupid)
Perhaps somebody wants to write a post or comment here describing how to slice (this) PSD to proper HTML/CSS without using images. Surely there is some structured approach to it. To someone who knows what he/she is doing, this is a trivial task but to us back-enders it is not.
