Not exactly an interview issue but one with a recruiter. I applied for a job as a lead dev for a small company only to find out in the interview I was oversold on its tech and it actually built some pretty mundane SaaS.
After the interview I spoke to the recruiter and mentioned my concerns that the role wasn't very interesting to me and stated that it would need to pay a little more for me to leave my current role (at the time). I asked for £550/day rather than the offered £500/day which was still well within the market rate. He was FURIOUS, didn't bother speaking to the customer first, just went on a rant complaining that I had wasted his time (I had explicitly told him beforehand my wage expectations) and proceeded to hang up on me.
