I LOVE LOVE LOVE Powershell, especially the new Core version. It is my go to prototyping tool and general data manipulation tool. 20 years ago I would have used Perl - it has the same depth of package availability, OS integration and data manipulation. But Perl stopped growing (until the new V6) while PWSH keeps growing and maturing.
Anyone working on Windows (and now thanks to V6, any platform), needs to be compitant if not fluent in it. I even use it as a shell on my linux boxes because it is way less difficult to work with (to me at least) than bash et al.
