I'm a big fan of meetups that don't necessarily follow the presentation format.
I co-host a meetup where we run a Lean Coffee about software. It sounds like it has a lot of overlap with a clinic format.
I love the usage of the work "clinic" which, in my mind, frames the discussion as a place to open up and share difficulties.
