I am not 100% sure.

Story of my life πŸ˜‚. Maybe I am overconfident in my ability, but this is probably the 100th time I've said this and I still taking on the project.

To give you context without compromising my NDA, I am researching a new product, uncharted waters. The tech is AI agent-based and requires some dev in languages I have little knowledge of (Java, C). I have the budget go-ahead though, so why not? I am that crazy!

Whether it will work in real life or not 🀷 I have no clue. I of course did communicate this before getting the budget approved, but since the potential revenue could be a game changer, the risk is worth it.

RND work is normally what I do, so I am not afraid of picking up languages and tools as I go along. The problem is many of the components, I have never built before, and well, to my knowledge there aren't many, if any companies running this in a commercial environment with real customers.

Anyway, as a web developer, are you finding that there are more and more of these AI-powered projects on your plate? Have you ever been asked to work on these pie-in-the-sky projects and what has been your experience?
