In today’s world, laws are required in every state to function smoothly and the people abide by those laws to live in a peaceful manner. Laws create a framework that helps regulate behaviour and establish order, giving guidance for everything from personal relationships to how institutions work. The Constitution of India is one of the largest written Constitutions of the world. It is also referred as a ‘borrowed’ one, as the leaders of the Constituent Assembly borrowed freely the provisions from other countries and modified it to suit the Indian needs. The Constitution currently has 448 articles and 12 schedules outlining the governance principles, rights, duties, and administrative frameworks of India.

Seelam’s work motivates readers to tackle legal issues with confidence and that law is not a barrier, rather a tool of empowerment. The purpose of the book is to make people informed and educated about the Indian Law and become responsible citizens.
