Today I wanna show you a project I have been working on for a long while! Graviton Editor!
It's a lightweight, minimalist, customizable, hackable, free & opensource code editor , it has been made on ElectronJS ( don't leave the post, stay here!).
Being an Electron app doesn't mean it's always a RAM-killer, it performs very well, even in low-cost pcs (I tested it).
You can code in many languages as you wish thanks to CodeMirrorJS (opensource library to highlight the code syntax).
As I said my goal is to give a light-weight, fast and customizable editor, so if you are looking for that... maybe you are in the right post!
Yes, you can, in fact, it would be super cool! You can take a look at the Source and create how many pull requests you want or contact me. You can also help me at translating to other languages, I am not a dictionary✨. You can also help by donating money to my PayPal!💕
If you have found a bug, just open an issue on the Repository and I will try to fix!😎
A friend is helping me on the website cause I am so busy with Graviton, I will announce it someday.
Yeah, Graviton supports plugins and themes! I have been working on an API which allows you to interact with Graviton, it allows you to create dropmenus, notifications, floating windows, dialogs... and get info about other stuff.
It's Free & Opensource! Right now it's only supported on Windows and Linux, I will try to deploy it on MacOS someday cause right now I don't have any MacOS device where I can test😓 and I don't know anybody who owns one.
I just released a version (alpha!!)> https://github.com/Graviton-Code-Editor/Graviton-App/releases/tag/0.7.3
You can download and send me feedback.
