Discussion on: Why developers hate PHP

A lot of people hate PHP for personal reasons. Some say there are enough wordpress php guys who keep lowering the web market, some say PHP's blocking model and not having multithreading is a problem.

At the end of the day, what kind of a product you develop and feel comfy while developing it is what matters.(ofc performance too)

I do backends in various languages and i have seen some old php cms stuff that is actually consuming less memory than hyped latest nodejs cms stuff(for example, look at strapi)

I have also come across the most modern php devs who know the whole landscape of php from swoole(concurrency based library not multiprocessing crap), laravel to symphony and every damn quality package in composer. Developer community plays a HUGE important part to people who look from outside
