I disagree that learning jQuery in 2020 is necessary. You do get an understanding of the DOM and Event Loop in Javascript, but that would happen anyway when learning any of the big frameworks.

My advice: start with React -> most popular framework, most jobs, easy to understand (only the View pattern instead of MVVC like Angular)
