New to opensource, and want to get started?
An opensource veteran who wants to contribute to a fun project and help newcomers?
Welcome to notmarkdown, a family of markup libraries developed using a simple input-output format.
What is it?
notmarkdown is a GitHub repo of markup libraries developed using a simple input-output format. The code is designed to take markup from one element, and output the styled text in another.
Why is it Being Posted on dev.to?
notmarkdown is being posted because it is a wonderful starting point for opensource newcomers to get started with the driving force of future software. Creating your own module by using the format can mean that it can be almost as easy as “Hello, world!” or as hard as retraining your deep learning algorithm to detect a new style of text input.
Come check it out! Whether you are a veteran or beginner, you can find your place helping notmarkdown.
