I have my own approach to this 'new year's resolutions' thing. Every year I write down some ideas, and it may be a concrete list but I look at it as an alignment, not a to-do list carved in stone. This is going to be very simple, and It's more for me than for anyone else. I post it online to kind of 'ratify', and I usually delete it after some time.
Last year the two main themes for me were to increase my income, learn web development and other career-related stuff. It was a great fruitful year with a lot of work. This next year I want to concentrate more on the personal stuff.
This year is going to be the year of family to me. I want to stabilize myself financially to be able to engage my girlfriend and start planning real estate purchase.
Now that I'm freelancing I need to plan my life at home a bit better. It has been all over the place so far. I have to figure out when to work, when and how to work out, how and what to eat.
The first work-related thing. My personal website is super simple and does not reflect my current set of skills. I have to update it.
I have some ideas for hobby projects, I have a book idea hanging, I would also start studying animating and unreal engine.
Currently, there are 6 books on my shelf waiting to be read.
