I start blog in dev.to few month ago, I really helpful for me.
Also I think Creating a blog site (scale is not matter.) is very helpful to understand what is occurred in real web-service. Because, Blog is one of project which can learn about basic CRUD.

I think many company not expect a very-professional great programming skill to junior or newbie,
Sometimes, they expect a small complete CRUD experience with good understanding about web works.
