Hi Woj, read your article and this is one of my goals in a few years.

For the review process, how long did it take you to get prepared? And what do you say about people who "hacked" the exam by just having below 1 yrs of experience in AWS instead of the recommended 2-3 yrs?

I'm choosing the path where I take the easier exam first before I gun for the SA Pro. What certs do you advise before taking the SA Pro?

Thanks!

It took me a week or two, to get back on track with the services I haven't used for a while. This is, why I say the experience is key. You probably can tackle it down in a shorter time, but the preparation time will be longer. Another thing is, that the exam is created for more experienced engineers, so it's not only about the cloud, but about the architecture, migration after all.

I can't speak for those whom I don't know. The "why" is important here. Why I do the certificates - I will create another article around that topic :)

My path was with the AWS Solutions Architect Associate in the first place, then I've passed AWS Security Speciality and then AWS Solutions Architect PRO... at the end, I've passed AWS Practitioner :) - this is another topic.
