It comes down to personal preference. I don't think the tools save me any time. Once in a while they catch a bug i missed that costs me a little time, but i don't see "tool using devs" being better/faster than "non tool using devs" in my day to day work.
In the end, good devs are always better/faster than not-as-good devs, regardless of the tools used. So really, personal preference always wins and we end up in lots of pointless arguments.
