I used to feel a lot of burnouts especially in my first years in coding. But it was accompanied with enthusiasm and the happy feeling you get after overcoming a challenge or solving a problem.
Now I manage myself more effectively and work in small coding katas, taking at least 5 min breaks each hour, and trying not to stay after work.
As you said, you are your biggest asset, and if you do not take care of yourself, you won't be efficient the next day.
