In Twitter’s progressive web app (mobile.twitter.com), the main menu is laid out in a scrollable container but the scrollbar is not visible on some platforms, by default. Depending on the user’s viewport height, the menu may appear complete, and the user may fail to discover the additional menu options that are not initially visible.
YouTube’s website gets around this issue by displaying the scrollbar when the user hovers over the menu with the mouse cursor.
On mobile platforms where the user can’t hover the menu with a mouse, Twitter could display a message at the bottom of the menu to inform users that more menu options are available below.
