Given I'm a Linux user and Notion has no Linux desktop application that kind of puts Notion out of the picture. Sure there's the Notion webapp but there goes your privacy. When you have to login to use your software the vendor has you by your privates.
Typora on the other hand is a truly cross-platform desktop app. There is even a Raspberry Pi edition. And at $15 for three licenses that's a super deal.
