Yep. I’m a “some-statically-typed-language” backend developer. After I read a book about JavaScript that explains 3 equally crappy ways to define something similar to a class and wrote a rather complex application with web workers and all, I never touched JS again... until TS came out and a colleague introduced us to it. This was the sole reason we are now a team of full-stack devs rather than backend only.
