Discussion on: How to avoid flow zone — a false sense of hyper-productivity

Hate to self-diagnose, but I have chronic flow zone syndrome. 🥴 (And I don't want to be cured 😉)

All jokes aside, this can be "easily" avoided if one sets priorities straight. That first example of how someone spends centuries trying to find a font is hilarious. Like I said, if that person had ranked tasks by priority level, they would have never spend 10 hours looking for a damn font!

What do I think of the flow zone? Hmm, I don't think much of it. Why do I live in the flow zone? Its a (un)conscious choice. I only stop when my hunger for knowledge is satisfied. I think letting the mind wander is healthy, but it needs to be managed every now and then or chaos will ensue.

Time to catch some fresh air now... Thanks for the article by the way! 👋🏻

Definitely agreed! Proper task organisation goes a very long way. It also directly gives you the "big picture" of your project; a clear overview of everything that needs to be done.
