It also offers 3rd party integration facilities with testing, iron.io, rapid API and more, further shortening the development process and costs.

2. Optimized for Security

A report by Positive Technology reveals that all web applications have at least one vulnerability and that this constitutes 85% of the threats they face. Despite the fact that no framework has the capability to let developers program a 100% safe website, Laravel differs in the way that its development community consistently works on releasing security patches. Besides, Laravel also features built-in protection features like security against cross-site scripting, SQL injections, cross-site request forgeries and more.

3. Strong Developer Community

The popularity of a web development framework largely depends on the developer community around it. Developer communities play a key role in solving questions and publishing use cases for the frameworks, fixing loopholes and optimizing frameworks. They are also key to assist beginners to get started with a framework.

Because we’ve also mentioned eCommerce, it becomes evident that Laravel also supports the development of applications that involve the micro services architecture. This architecture comprises several independently functioning modules, which come together to form one massive application that is uniquely scalable and high-performing. This is achieved through Laravels’ Lumen framework.

Examples of companies using Laravel Framework:

  1. BBC
  2. 9GAG
  3. Pfizer
  4. Crowdcube
  5. Lenovo
  6. FedEX and more

2. Businesses that Involve Backend Data Management

This includes the development of websites, content-based applications, CRM platforms and more. Laravel offers two solid approaches to develop such websites. You can use Laravel and integrate with an existing content management system like WordPress or Drupal or build one entirely from scratch. The advantage with the latter approach is that it allows for scalability.

Speaking of scalability, Laravel is ideal for businesses that are medium or small-sized today but will eventually grow larger in size tomorrow. Because it supports the micro services architecture, you can go ahead and quickly launch a website with immediate requirements and simultaneously be assured that you could scale without any worries when you grow in the coming months.

Laravel is constantly updated. So, this is ideal to build future-proof apps that would stand the test of time.

One criticism of Lavarel I have heard are the update cycles and breaking changes that make it hard to keep up with... what is your experience, how would you deal with that?

Updates and changes always make a better product. Laravel is one of them. Whenever Laravel give any update, we upgrade our developers knowledge as per update.

I mean... i used Laravel, i really like some concepts.
But why write an "article" offering nothing more than an advertisement for services with outdated info?
Starting from the market share image, created in 2017 (medium.com/@vishva.eleganzit/most-...) and the use of "5.5 update" (current version is 7)
Everything that you list as "unique advantages" or "standout features" are common to many others framework (to say one: Symfony).

Laravel is a great framework; why using so many empty words for it? Talk about what differentiates Laravel from others framework: eloquent orm and active records, the excellent Laracast documentation, Homestead and Valet for development, tinker command line, blade templates, etc...

People always search topic which they easily criticize. Without share a single post, how can you tell that don't write empty words.

Meanwhile, searching old post and stats at medium. If you are true knowledge sharing guy than you first search latest market share update of all php frameworks in 2020. Not search old post and stats at medium and post it here.

By the way thank you for criticizing our content. You can also read our other content and criticize us. So, we can write better.

So if someone disagree with what you wrote and point out what could be improved, you attack the person without even trying to address the points being made. Good for you...

Usage statistics of technologies used are always tricky; maybe the only stat that reprensents a somewhat correct usage is packagist numbers. Someone tried to make a dynamic page for that: tomasvotruba.com/php-framework-tre...

Anyway, i was wrong: the usage chart you used isn't from 2017, is from 2013 (quora.com/What-is-the-most-powerfu...). You can see from the uncropped image that those numbers are from Sitepoint.
Those numbers are clearly wrong in 2020, if you work with php you don't even have to search to know this.

Other points of my previous message still stands

Thank you for updating me. You just reflect what you are.

I already tell you that if you criticize my content then we can write better content and share with all other techie.

By the way thank you for updating me latest and old stats of php framework and other.

And about your other points - we already answered you in second line.
