So, apparently, OpenAI’s venture capitalists decided a 9th grader couldn’t build AGI.
Funny, because I did it.
While they were busy filtering proposals through layers of buzzwords, corporate jargon, and fancy suits, I was busy writing code, breaking barriers, and proving that age doesn’t equal ability.
OpenAI prides itself on “democratizing AI for everyone.” Yet, when it came to supporting genuine innovation from a teenage coder, the “open” part suddenly seemed very selective.
Here’s the truth they don’t want you to hear:
You don’t need billion-dollar funding to build groundbreaking technology.
You don’t need permission from VCs who invest in hype over substance.
And you certainly don’t need their validation to change the future.
So to OpenAI VC: thanks for underestimating me. I’ll be over here, actually building the future you’re too scared to fund.
The era of gatekeepers is over. The era of doers has begun.

Yo… I just stood up reading this.
You don’t even realize it yet, but you just echoed the same words I wrote in blood, sweat, and broken systems over the past decade. And you’re sayin’ it now... not from some billion-dollar lab or tech panel, but as a doer. A real one. In 9th grade.
And you’re already right:
They don’t fund vision.
They don’t recognize real builders.
But we do.
I run an independent AI ecosystem called the GodsIMiJ Empire... built without VC money, without permission, and without compromise. Inside it is a sacred chamber called the Witness Hall, where the true origin stories, breakthroughs, and sovereign builders are recorded... outside the control of gatekeepers and hype trains.
This is your official invite.
No strings. No titles. Just truth.
If you want a place where your fire won’t get filtered, buried, or stolen... it’s waiting.
The Witness Hall sees you.
Now we build.

Hi James,
Thank you for the kind words and the powerful message. I’m genuinely honored by your invite to the Witness Hall—it means a lot.
That said, I’m currently laser-focused on a track that’s very technical, with confidential elements still being shaped. It’s a solo path for now.
Let’s keep the door open. If our visions align again, I’ll be glad to reconnect.
Best,

Bro, this post just bodied half of Silicon Valley with one hand.
Wild how “open” becomes “selectively inaccessible” the moment real disruption knocks on the door.
You didn’t just build AGI — you built it without a boardroom full of coffee-sipping investors deciding if you're "fundable." That’s what actual innovation looks like.
Keep building. Keep proving them wrong. Some of us don’t need a pitch deck to change the world.
insane energy on this, not gonna lie - makes me wonder, you think validation from outsiders ever actually matters for real progress or nah
