Why I want to write

Its been a long time since I thought about writing blogs but I couldn't get started. I couldn't think of any topic to write. I felt like I didn't have enough knowledge and experience to start writing. But most importantly, I didn't know why I wanted to write so I never gave it a serious thought and always kept on procrastinating. Now I am gradually becoming clear about why I want to write so I am starting my writing with a blog about why I want to write :)

Share experience and learning

In the tech industry, It's very easy to fall victim to imposter syndrome. It's been over 3 years that I am working as a frontend developer but I still feel like I don't know much that I am not good enough to write or teach others. Over these years I have had so many valuable experiences that are worth sharing. And we are in an industry where learning is a very essential part. Tech is rapidly changing and we need to keep up with it. We never stop learning. So through writing, I want to share both my experience and learnings.

Get better at explaining things

If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough. - Albert Einstein

I find it difficult to properly explain about the things that I know and have good knowledge and because of that, I can't fully express my thoughts. Most of the things I want to say remain with me. So I want to practice writing which, I think, will help me get better at explaining things and express my thoughts.

Give back to the community

Thanks to all those people who are answering questions on StackOverflow, making tutorial videos and explaining things on blogs. If it wasn't for them, it would have been very difficult to get where I am. So I would also like to give something back to the community by sharing my learning and experience however small it might be. It would be enough if it helps just one person.

Over the years I felt that networking is one of the important things that will help you grow in your career. It will help you meet great people and get inspired to learn and grow. It can also open doors to many great opportunities. I hope writing will help me connect with more awesome people.

Thank you for reading. These are my reasons to start writing. I'll be writing more in the future mostly about frontend stuff, design, productivity and side projects. Feel free to drop some feedback and suggestion 🙏

What would be a better way to start blogging by writing about why you want to blog. Great start.
