Somehow, we all come to a point where we just can't pretend that Windows is going to work for our needs anymore.
I hereby declare that I've never been there. I use other systems with Windows because I am curious, that does not mean that Windows couldn't easily replace all of them.
One salient feature of the Linux community still is the Arch user base having a smug air of superiority because of the awful installer they are presented.
Then why is the Gentoo community so warm and helpful? I guess Arch attracts the "lol u still use Windoze lolol" kids more than Gentoo because Arch is easy enough to install. Gentoo would make them cry. Ha!
Distrowatch (a site any restless Linux user becomes very aware of) has as its tagline, "Put the Fun Back In Computing"
Distrowatch also has "Use Linux, BSD" in its subtitle. Tried BSD?

I haven't tried BSD but I want to. I've heard it is a lot more stable than linux distros
It surely is!
