I really don't understand these jQuery haters.
Of course, if you're starting your next big project, dealing with a large codebase, the obvious choice and common sense say "use react"(or Vue, angular, etc). However, if you just want some basic validation, for a single form, with some extras, I don't remember something better than jQuery. What's the problem with that?
I don't understand why people accuse me of being a jQuery hater , well I don't hate ! Now if you've read what I said, I mentioned that using Vanilla is better when you write some lines of JS code, and it's a matter of performance, if you don't care about performance and your website is going well , then go ahead and use it. For larger apps, I don't use it too , as a matter of maintainability.
