A test of character

I'm kind of enamored with the idea of people having personal websites. I think it's one of the most interesting tests of character: What do you do in the environment where you control everything and it's all about you?

Do you eschew all Javascript and even HTTPS? Do you value style over functionality and use "Enhanced" versions of stuff that doesn't even work? Do you make a logical, hierarchical design or a nonsensical spaghetti? Do you hijack the scrolling like an asshole? Do you assault the user with a popup asking them to subscribe, or do you let them read and enter their email at the bottom if they want to?
