Hi contestants, after discussing with one of the folks in charge of the contest, I've decided to leave my comment here to inform interested parties that I am offering my mentoring services for free to any and all participants.
As a former participant in other contests and hackathons, and having won numerous of them in the past, I have benefitted greatly from the recognition since then.
For the last couple of years, I have been mentoring and coaching other front-end developers & those interested in UX engineering.
So, I'm here to offer my help once again. This is my way to pay it forward and to help you (the participants) to be one step closer to winning the prize money (just as I did before).
I am usually more active on LinkedIn, so you can always chat me up there: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sherman-chen-weizhi?utm_source=share&utm_campaign=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=android_app
But I can also engage in mentoring conversations via this platform (I only joined fairly recently).
For more serious conversations, we can always do it via Google Meet.
Weizhi is a great resource! I highly encourage anyone looking for a mentor – or just a little technical help – to reach out to him :)

Good luck everyone!!
Can we use premium components as well?
You may, but they won't count towards the 10 Free Component requirement!
Thank you for your response! 😊
Anyone looking for collaborators?
I am new to design and looking for people to collaborate with me.
Hey Arya,
I'm interested in participating in this contest, but since I haven't participated in one before, I was wondering if you'd be open to collaborating as a team.
Let me know what you think.
Dm on LinkedIn at linkedin.com/in/arya-teja-rudraraju?
Or let me know what is your communication platform of choice
I am interested. I have an app idea—basically, it is a dashboard. I need someone who can design it well in Figma using a UI kit.
Let me know if you’re available to collaborate!
Hi, we can collaborate what kind of Designer you are looking for ?
This is my LinkedIn; share DM me there; I will share the details.linkedin.com/in/wamiq319/
On the final day of this challenge, I wanted to share THREE key things that I believe you can take away from this experience. These are also things I wished someone else has told me when I first started taking part in similar competitions during the early days of my journey.

The entire Progress team wishes you all best of luck!! If you have any questions about the components or need help with anything, don't hesitate to reach out :) We can't wait to see what you build!!
dev.to/d2d_weizhi/3-tipsguidelines...
I know that we are already half-way thru this current contest/challenge, but I still want to use this opportunity to share THREE tips/guidelines that I hope will be helpful to all you contestants out there.
They can also serve as friendly reminders if needed. Hope it helps.
Hi
Is it okay if we implement authentication in our apps? Will the judges go through the trouble of making an account?
(I'm only asking this because in a previous project, I've implemented authentication and not even a single person signed up to even look at my project!)
I’m excited to apply this! 🎉
Is there a help thread for Kendo components? In particular, I cannot for my life figure out how to put a link on a breadcrumb item.
Hey there! There's not a help thread here on dev.to, but KendoReact has a very active and helpful forum where you can ask any questions: telerik.com/forums/kendo-ui-react
For the breadcrumbs specifically, it sounds like you're looking for onItemSelect, which you can find more about in the API section of the docs: telerik.com/kendo-react-ui/compone...
Can I use an existing project of mine that does not use Kendo components, submitting a version that does?
Yes!
Best of luck everyone!
Awesome 😍 😍😍
Wish you all good luck!
Can I use Tailwind along with Kendo UI for styling other things ? Is it gonna put me in a lower judging score?
I would note that the Kendo stylesheet (default or generated from the Theme Builder) has quite a few utility classes, not unlike Tailwind. You might be able to use those in lieu of TW.
Feel free to use Tailwind (or any other styling library)! It won't put you in a lower judging score, but it will disqualify you for the "delightfully designed" subcategory since you won't be using ThemeBuilder to generate the styles. However, if you'd prefer to just focus on the main prize and/or the AIm to Impress subcategory, that's no issue at all!
I created a react playground, that includes a kendo react components, to quickly test the components.
You can use it to test kendo components.
Good Luck
Great experience with this company! The staff is top notch professional. Have ordered from them several times and each time have been pleasantly surprised by the prompt delivery and quality of the products.
All the best for everyone!!
Okay will take in this! Awesome

"This post really made me rethink how I approach this topic. I never realized this detailed information could have such an impact. Thanks for shedding light on this! Being your fan, I want to grab your sight on my work on ring sizing guide
. I request you to please have a look at our website and share your feedback with us."
This sounds like an exciting challenge! KendoReact’s powerful UI components can significantly enhance project workflows, especially for teams managing complex projects.
From a project management perspective, having intuitive and well-designed UI components can streamline collaboration and boost productivity. Tools like Teamcamp focus on simplifying project management, and integrating robust UI libraries like KendoReact can further improve user experience and efficiency.
Curious—has anyone used KendoReact to enhance project dashboards or task management systems? Would love to hear your thoughts!
I am from Colombia, I can participe for the prizes?
