I agree, but this year has redefined what I thought achievable by AI as far as the appearance of creativity goes. It'll be incredible to see AIs be able to evaluate their own correctness, come up with theories, and evaluate the correctness of those theories. Probably a ways away. We've got to get transparent and controllable transformer-based models figured out first.
