After identifying our keywords for the content, here is a few convenient places you can place them for better results.

  1. Place identified keywords in your URL.

URL domain

Most search engines like Google use your web page URL to get a clue about your page content. This is why it is important to make sure you optimize your URL for faster results. Keywords are mostly placed in the URL slug. Do not make the description extra long , rather, keep the description short and to the point.

2. Place identified keywords in between H1 tags.

H1 tags basically mean your title. Be sure to place some keywords in your page titles for faster results. This makes it easier for the search engines to crawl into your page content and identify them, hence displaying your page faster ,after specific search queries.

3. Place identified keywords in your metadata.

By placing your keywords in the metadata , you give your page a higher chance of being among the top results when certain search queries are run. Just like in the URL , keywords in the metadata do not need to be overdone. Short and descriptive phrases get the work done too.

4. Place keywords in your content.

Last but not the least, place keywords in your content. Use phrases that are mostly likely to relate to what you want to convey.

By following all of these keyword techniques, you will have given search engines multiple opportunities to fish out keywords and get a clue what your content is about.
