It was the big NASA hacks from 2001-2002 by Gary McKinnon that made me want to stop hackers and protect the systems they abuse. Gary McKinnon made me see how dangerous hacking really was. I changed my name to cipher-10000 and thus the XOD ideal was born and my Odyssey into computer programming began. Gary McKinnon was a serious '1337' even though I consider myself as skilled as that he showed me how dangerous a hacker could be.
