Preview builds on Amplify simply don't work as a whole. When it fails to initialise a new environment, it doesn't rollback successfully and ultimately stays a in broken state where you actually have to manually delete the partially created stack from CloudFormation. I started numerous issues in various Amplify repositories, but no solutions yet. While we like this service, it's currently broken in some areas, creating a lot of maintenance overhead.
