New front end web developer, recently graduated. Looking to learn more, make connections and possibly find a mentor. Likes CSS, JavaScript, and long walks in the park.
I just finished my course this week and I'm trying to wind down a bit. Similar to you I didn't have a steady job while I studied. In fact I got laid off just before I started! I dived in hard to distract myself from it. I live in the country and I'm not sure how I'll find work so that took the edge off finishing, but I'm doing a little every day so the past nine months aren't a waste and maybe I can work remotely to build my experience up. I don't know how long it will take but if it means not doing the mindless work I've done in the past I'm willing to wait. Thank you for your post.
