My Journey as a Beginner Technical Writer: Learning New Skills in Web Development, Python, and DevOps

Hey everyone!

I'm excited to share my journey as a technical writer who's diving into the world of web development, Python, Java, and DevOps. While I’ve been working as a full-time technical writer, documenting and explaining complex topics for years, I realized it’s time to start learning and expanding my own technical skills.

Here's what I've been working on:

C/C++: I have a foundation in C and C++ and continue to improve my understanding of programming concepts.

Python & Java: I'm learning Python for its simplicity and power in scripting and Java for its relevance in web development.

Web Development: I'm exploring front-end and back-end development to create complete applications.

DevOps & Cloud: I've started learning about DevOps, AWS, and Docker, focusing on how these tools integrate to streamline development and deployment processes.

Markdown: As a technical writer, Markdown is my tool of choice for documenting and writing clean, readable content.

I wanted to share this post to introduce myself and connect with others who are also learning or experienced in these areas. If you're working on something similar, I’d love to collaborate or share resources!

I’m looking forward to engaging with the DEV community, sharing knowledge, and continuing to learn. Let me know if you have any tips for a beginner like me, or if you’d like to chat about technical writing, coding, or DevOps!
