I have a simple rule in my life: "Do not take anything personally".
It's not an easy thing to do, however one must understand that all the things we face in life, including criticism, encouragement, and all takes form in the eyes and mind of the other side. We are the "Man in the Arena", and we build something with our best intentions, and best effort. Our effort will always be a little different than the expectations of others, and don't let others expectations affect you like that.
Another thing I've learnt to do is to separate the emotions from the criticism or reaction that I get. The suggestions may be correct, but the suggester may not have the nice manners. Again, this is nothing to take personal, because it's his/her attitude. His/her attitude would be same regardless of the person. So learn to separate meaning from emotions. If this separation yields anything useful, then use it. Otherwise throw it out.
Last but, not the least some people will criticize to hurt or to conceal their shortcomings. If they tell you "It's not working", send them a bug report form to fill. It'll effectively reveal the truth of why this reaction has happened.
For further actions, you may consider blocking this person and/or reporting abuse
We're a place where coders share, stay up-to-date and grow their careers.
