I keep giving this advises to other peers/mentees, but now I have an article to show them what are the benefits :D

  • take hourly brakes away from the chair/desk
  • workout at least 3-4h each week, anything, just do something
  • braking your comfort bubble is a skill that you have to train, learn new paradigms, languages, go to interviews even if you love your jobs, go to meetups ...
  • make yourself a 1-3y professional plan, usually they think on a position they want to reach, and go towards that direction each week. You can always pivot but adding a brick each week will make you stronger.
