No joke, I use JQuery a lot - it really helps me every day. Truth told, though, I personally think the whole thing will be deprecated next year. JQuery is great, but I think it's going to go away soon as JS advances so much that the uses for JQuery lessen and lessen.
Don't get me wrong - JQuery is absolutely amazing, and I'm not surprised 85% of people use it, but JS is evolving so fast that there might be no use for it anymore.
I have lately found that for everything I do in JQuery, I could do in JS (give it take). Why load a whole library for nothing?
JQuery is legacy, but all legacies come to an end... 👋👋 JQuery 😭😭...
