As some of you might have read, I've used quite a lot to support some of the features in my Flask application, which is being developed with pure JavaScript, and Flask HTML templates. I have never used any front-end framework apart from Angular 1, and, I have to admit, for the size and scope of my side projects, I love the convenience and power of what jQuery allows me to do, especially regarding making my app feel more sleek and interactive.
I don't work with either jquery or anything at all front-end related at my daily job, so can't comment much more.
