For personal use, I'll consider moving off GitHub, but I don't know enough about the alternatives. Professionally, I've used Microsoft technologies when required by an employer in the past, so I don't see that changing, though I'm a little disappointed that the sort of "indy" era of GitHub is over.
I have an anti-Microsoft bias that I don't know if is well-founded anymore, but that's how I feel.
One thing I'm curious to see is how this will affect the Python community, who was starting to talk about moving either the CPython code itself or its issue tracking to GitHub.
