Oh sorry, I might not have been clear with that. They originally wanted to bring me on to be staff-augmented to another company. The other company interviewed me and didn't want me (interviewed a Front End Developer for a Back End position 🤷♂️) and so the intention was to have me just work with the company and then they'd try to place me in a staff-augmented position again.
To be honest, this whole thing was weird but it just went to hell in a hand basket when I got on this team.
